This food is the best quality for the price I have ever seen. I ordered a chicken breast to go with my eggs and I got 2 pieces of REAL chicken for like $3.15. Friendly efficient service. If you are passing through, highly recommended for a quick bite. You stand in line, kind of cafeteria/Ikea style, find a table and enjoy. Line moves quickly. My hubby and I ordered scrambled eggs, chicken breast, fried potatoes, 3 fried eggs, 2 pancakes and a milk for under $14. I watched another worker putting out salad bar fixings. All fresh, covered, impressed.

Stopped in on the way to NC for a bite. Not really at all what we were expecting. This is a cafeteria-style place where you grab a tray and some utensils and proceed through the line in a school lunchroom reminiscent way. The food itself isn't bad, but this place is all home cooking so if you're watching what you eat, probably better to stop elsewhere. My kids had fried chicken tenders, fries and Mac and cheese. Chicken was bland, fries were hot and crispy and neither one finished their mac and cheese. I ordered the chicken and dumplings, fried okra and field peas. The chicken and dumplings were good except there were no dumplings. Being from the south and it being one of my favorite dishes, I was very disappointed. The dumplings are a pretty important part of chicken AND DUMPLINGS!! The okra was crisp, but lacked flavor, but the peas were pretty good. Service was overall good.
I'm sure there are things you come here and order every time and things that you just don't. There were lots of locals in there, so obviously there's something to this place. Maybe I should have gotten the meatloaf or roast beef or something, but we just didn't enjoy it as we hoped we would. -

This place is a local restaurant that has the absolute best food at the most incredible prices. Bring two people or 20 people and you will find yourself full, happy and not with a broken wallet. The line moves very quickly, but breakfast and lunch seem to be the most popular times. Dinner is also served and is also really really good, you just need to get there before it gets too late while the food is fresh and hot. The owner is an incredibly nice manAnd the staff is super kind. Generous portions and the cheapest prices make this for an unbelievable stop in Gainesville. Even if you have to drive a few miles out of your way, if you're in the area, this is a place you must stop at. Before you leave, walk out to the parking lot and get a picture with the worlds largest rabbit concrete statue and make your trip complete.

I had high hopes for Rabbittown Cafe but overall was disappointed by the food. Atmosphere was what I expected so no real issues there and the service was very friendly. The "home cooking" was where the real issue was. The collard greens were tough and not good. Macaroni and cheese was overcooked and mushy. The chicken tenders were the best thing I had. I will say the sweet tea was very good. Overall, just not a good food experience. All that said, the prices are extremely reasonable so we may give this another chance at some point.

Great breakfast buffet with special order pancakes that are light fluffy and delicious. A grown man who can eat three of them ought try out for Falcons in Flowery Branch. Big food is the deal here. Order bacon with your pancakes and soon as not you'll get 1/2 lb or better. They specialize in chicken fingers here and sell o lot of the crispy fried boneless chicken breast. As Mickey Mantle once said, "to get a fresher piece of chicken you'd have to be a rooster". Prices are reasonable and service is agreeable. They offer in uniform and senior discounts.
